Murga in Colonia Del Sacramento (Uruguay)

We took a ferry from Buenos Aires to a small colonial town in Uruguay called Colonia Del Sacramento.  As soon as we found our hostel and threw our bags down, some dude told us about a live street performance happening a few blocks away.  I'm a sucker for live music, so off I went.  Turns out this was not your average musical performance.  During Carnaval season, Uruguayan's dig back to their roots with Murga -- a sort of theatrical musical performance with powerful harmonies:
